Aiden and Chase installed a new outdoor electric panel to connect our home to Rocky Mountain Power. They exceeded our expectations and the price was very reasonable when compared to others. They did a great job even though Rocky Mountain Power could not find the shut off switch to the house the first time they came out to do the job! JP Electrical informed us of the follow ups and they contacted us whenever they planned to do the work. We would definitely recommend them to our friends.

In my day of service, Wyatt came out to get it taken care of. I appreciate that he was about to get it done so quickly, and also installed my dryer cord for me. I was able to get this done for $300 less than I was quoted from another company. Plus, a personal perk is that Wyatt isn’t bad to look at. 😂

Zach and another employee transformed our front room by installing recessed lighting (six can lights). I've never seen such careful work and really appreciate how much they cared for our home. We are SO HAPPY to finally have light in that room! The project was very affordable. We got a dimmer switch and highly recommend.

Outlet wasn't working. Dominick Diagnosed the issue and fixed it in about 10 minutes as it was just a loose wire from a previous contractor's job. It took me longer to decide to call an electrician than it took for them to schedule an appointment and fix the issue. Great price and friendly guys.

Building up on the legacy of JP Electrical and adding to my positive experience with the company over the past two years now, Aiden and Bernie did an excellent job with wiring my sauna heater. They figured out the nontrivial external controls for both the Harvia heater and the lights and ran a very neat installation, making sure that all wiring is out of sight, adhering to the clean design of the sauna. Couldn't be happier!

Jordan and Austin did a wonderful job installing a manual transfer switch next to my meter panel on the side of my house. I'm so happy to have it done and ready for future power outages.

I tried a few places after moving to SLC and JP Electric has always been the best. They do always do great work and have competitive prices. They have a great team and are the only ones I use now. If you haven't tried them I would highly recommend.

This was a huge difference from Any Hour Services who didn’t investigate and quoted us over $7000 for a new system. JP Electrical really felt honest and knowledgeable, and helped calmed my nerves.

Mike & Wyatt, with JP electric did a fantastic job taking care of our electrical needs. They came prepared with the parts that we requested and were able to offer solutions that were less invasive to drywall and met our needs exactly. JP Electric is my only electric company I’ll use, would recommend highly to anyone need any kind of electrical service. They work, cleanly, efficiently, and left everything neat and clean.

Garbage disposal quit working. They came and found reset switch on unit had tripped. Reset switch and freed up disposal. Checked plugs and wall switch. Found disposal leaks and recommended repair or replacement. I was satisfied with their service.

I needed some electrical work done quickly and worried it could be weeks before an electrician could fit it in. JP Electrical had it scheduled and completed in just a few days. I'm very impressed with the honesty and professional opinion of this company. I had Ian come out for a quote on an old electrical lighting panel. Two different electricians from other companies had previously looked at it for me and told me they didn't know what they were looking at, but Ian knew right away and has prior experience working with it. Not only did he know what to do, but he was also honest with the options in letting us know what to expect repair and cost wise. He didn't try to BS us around and tell us there was no other option for this panel. He explained that it's an old panel that is grandfathered in, and after he looked at it he explained that it's safe to use (which was our biggest concern) and keep using it for the time being until it starts to break down. Awesome customer service, and a great experience. We will be using JP for future needs and I recommend anyone to use them as well.

I have used JP several times in the past and have always been impressed with their work. I recently needed a 220 outlet in my furnace room - Aiden and Bernie showed up on time, did a great job and didn't leave any mess behind. Highly recommended!

Hired to wire and install fans on a new pergola that required some complicated wiring. Very happy with how clean everything turned out. There was a small issue found afterwards but JP was very responsive and quickly fixed the problem to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Sam and Bill did a fantastic job , they installed new ceiling fans in 4 rooms , new entry , bath and backroom lights plus 3 outside lights . Hard workers , pleasant young men . Smooth and efficient process, friendly people, overall great experience. We worked with RMP to get the details, approval, and a short timeline for a service upgrade (200 to 400 amp). Of the electrical contractors we spoke with, JP Electric gave us the most confidence and a timeline that aligned with RMP. JP gave us an estimate on 02/05/2024, and we had our service upgraded on 02/16/2024. Amazing! Other than the short timeline, we were very concerned about the 50’ section of the yard that has existing power, gas, cable, sprinkler mains, sprinkler lines, low voltage cable, and a gutter drain line. Even worse, other than the topsoil, the property is clay. Other companies effectively told us they were going to wreck stuff and they would not be responsible for anything that was not a “utility.” JP said they couldn’t guarantee they wouldn’t hit something but were willing to do what was necessary to minimize the chances. They sent out 4 electricians on day 1. After realizing what they were up against, the team decided to cancel the trencher and dig it out by hand. I would have never believed 4 electricians would be willing to dig a 50’ trench through 3 feet of clay. They even filled in most of the trench before leaving that day. Guys were tired but still cracking jokes while loading up their tools. Only one small casualty – they hit a feeder pipe to a sprinkler head which took me about 5 minutes to repair while the trench was open. While trivial to fix, I really think most other crews would have not told me about it or worse, not been as careful and done more damage to other stuff that was in their path. For day 2 they had things lined up with RMP and the County to disconnect the existing power, do the inspection, and reconnect the new service. In total we were without power for less than 7 hours. For us this was a big deal but for the JP crew, it seemed like typical stuff. Other service companies can learn a thing or 2 about how to work, and treat customers, from these guys.

These are the best electricians around! They are everything you expect in good service. VERY impressed with this company. They arrived on time and were nice and friendly. They took down 3 hanging pendant lights and replaced them with can lighting. They removed a large heavy chandelier and hung up a new one over a staircase and then put up a large light in the garage. Everything looks exactly like I wanted it to and they made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. The cost was reasonable for all that work. You will not be disappointed in this company. I am happy to have found a reliable company to recommend to my friends.

This is the second time I have hired JP Electrical. Great work, very respectful and dependable. Last time they helped us sort out what some mystery switches did in our new place. This time they installed new outside can lights and set up a new timer switch for the exterior lights (previously on light sensor with no switches). Everything looks great! Dom and Shawn did great work and communicated well with me.

We were very happy with Mike and Gunner’s work. They were very competent and helped us to solve some difficult challenges in fixing some older electrical work. They were also respectful of our budget and project constraints, providing options that helped us to accomplish our goals without breaking our budget. They were very courteous and easy to work with. I look forward to having them back on our next electrical project.

Jon and Zach were prompt and walked me through the process for installation of new under counter lights. The lights look great and are just what I was hoping for.
